Your First Appointment
At My VeinCare, we are dedicated to providing you with the best evaluation and treatment of venous and lymphatic diseases available.
During your initial consultation, we take the time to provide a complete examination and review of your vein problem. This may last up to an hour and a half depending on your problem and will allow us to determine the necessary treatment. It may seem like a lot of time for a doctor visit, but please remember that it is time well spent.
Depending on your individual vein problems, your initial vein consultation may include a complete venous leg ultrasound by our ultrasound tech and Dr. Arvon will review the ultrasound during your visit. Your legs may also be measured to ensure a proper fit for any necessary leg compression garments and photos will be taken of your vein problem. Before you leave, the doctor will review your ultrasound results with you and discuss your options, the benefits and risks, and answer any questions you may have.
By the end of your visit you should have a treatment plan in place and if needed, custom fitted leg compression garments.
